CASTOR OIL PAD/POULTICE

Buy cold-pressed castor oil.  Health Food Stores usually have it.

Make a pad of wool or flannelette – when folded three times measures approximately 9” x 5”.  Drizzle oil on one side of pad and allow it to spread itself.  Don’t put too much on to start.

Place pad, oiled side, on affected area.  Put a piece of plastic over pad to avoid soaking clothes and furniture.  Place thin cloth on plastic and then put warm heating pad or warm hot water bottle over all.  Leave on for one hour each time you use it.  When you remove the pad, cleanse the oil off the skin with baking soda and water.

Store pad in plastic in fridge for continued use.  You can use this treatment as often as you wish.  Every day, alternate days, etc.  Add oil when you feel it’s necessary.

This treatment is good for almost anything, i.e. sprains, tendons, kidney stones, gall stones, muscle spasms, fibroids of all kinds.
