POTATO PEELING BROTH


Potato peeling broth and Whex, a dehydrated goat milk whey product, are high in organic sodium and potassium, which assist in restoring calcium balance in the body.  These foods are particularly useful in bringing calcium back into solution in cases of arthritis and in taking care of sodium deficiency in underactive digestive systems.

 


Potato Peeling Broth Recipe

Peel 2 medium potatoes (1/4” thick) and simmer peelings only in a pint of water for 15 minutes.  Strain and drink only the broth.  This is a potent broth for assisting elimination.

You may want to try a more varied, but equally potent recipe as follows:

2 cups potato peelings    2 cups carrot tops
2 cups celery tops    1 medium onion
1 tbsp vegetable broth powder  2 qt. water

Finely chop all ingredients, add to water, bring slowly to a boil; simmer 20 minutes.  Strain off broth and drink one or two cups a day.
